While it always seems as though there is some event, conference or trade show taking place in Vegas, a big one was held there last week and had special significance, especially for Mazda. It was the 2013 SEMA Show, where equipment manufactures from hundreds of different industries descended on the city to show off their latest creations. Mazda was no exception.

Most automakers who put up an exhibition at the SEMA Show focused more on showcasing the potential of their popular vehicles rather than unveiling new ones (an activity usually reserved for auto-specific shows). That is exactly what our good friends at Mazda did as the company customized two new 2014 Mazda6 models, outfitting them with the latest in hot aftermarket parts.

The first special Mazda6 model was called the "Club Sport." This vehicle featured a Composite Grey body that was "motorsports-inspired." A rear spoiler, and side diffusers , a H&R spring kit, Brembo brakes and Racing Bet exhaust could all be found on this car. Under the hood Mazda included its 2.2-liter SKYACTIV-D diesel four-cylinder engine.

The second special Mazda6 model was called the Ceramic 6 Concept. The sedan was done up in a Ceramic White paint color as well as Taupe Silver accents. This special model came with Original G25 20-inch wheels, a H&R Spring kit, Brembo brakes, Racing Beat exhaust and a gorgeous interior done entirely in black and white.
