Engine and Safety Features
Under the hood, the Mazda6 is equipped with a 2.5L four-cylinder that generates 184 hp and 185 lb-ft of torque. The Sport and touring trims receive a six-speed automatic that sends power to the front wheels in the standard setup. You can opt for a six-speed automatic transmission, however. The Touring version of the 2015 Mazda6 in Reno gets the six-speed automatic exclusively. EPA fuel economy estimates are in the range of 25/40 mpg, city/highway. Standard features on the Sport trim include 17" alloy wheels, cloth upholstery, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, air-conditioning, cruise control, full power accessories, a 60/40-split rear seat, a 3.5" multi-information display, and a six-speaker sound system with a USB/iPod interface and an auxiliary audio jack.The Touring version of the 2015 Mazda6 in Reno gains 19" alloy wheels, keyless ignition and entry, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, premium vinyl upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a sliding console armrest, and a six-way power driver seat.
The Grand Touring comes with unique 19" wheels, a rear spoiler, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, LED running lights, fog lights, leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver seat, a four-way power passenger seat, driver memory functions, and heated front seats.
To this you can add the GT Technology Package that comes with adaptive cruise control, a forward collision warning system, a lane-departure warning system, automatic high-beam control and an energy capture system called that aids with fuel economy. Other options are available across the lineup as well.
