In 1989, the Mazda MX-5 Miata came with a warning: "WARNING: This car may be addictive." Years later, broaching 26, to be exact, we are addicted, heart and soul, to this car. Fast-forward one more year to 2016 and our addiction will be taken to a whole new level with the recently revealed, all-new 2016 Mazda mX-5 Miata. That's 27 years of addiction and we have to say this is definitely one of our better habits.
Last week in Monterrey, California, Mazda Director of Design, Derek Jenkins revealed the 2016 model. If you missed it, here it is:
A wider, lower body, lower nose and dramatic rear are just the beginning of this dramatic remodel. The upgrades inside are superb - from a new pushbutton ignition starter to MazdaConnect® with a seven-inch screen display on the dashboard. Jenkins described the redesign as "Simple, lightweight, affordable" with the mindset that a Mazda model must be "...completely in sync with the driver." We have to say, this beauty has us jumping out of our skin with excitement. We can't wait to get behind the wheel of this all-new 2016 model, but until then, out New Mazda Inventory keeps us pleasantly busy. Visit us today at Dolan Mazda and have fun with us behind the wheel of our new 2015 models on a test drive.
