After one concept car and a barrage of teasers, it seems that Mazda's promise of a slightly-more upscale larger crossover has come to fruition. Meet the 2017 CX-9, the latest and last of the brand's models to adapt the KODO Design Philosophy, and a premium flare that took us by surprise.
The CX-9 has always been a stylish, efficient, and spacious people mover, but now, Mazda has made it more. Under the hood, a 2.5L turbocharged engine holds court with 250 horsepower. While the gas mileage numbers of the SKYACTIV-G mill are forthcoming, we've got plenty of other details to soak in, like the brown Nappa leather interior and stylish body lines.
